Hyacinth Christous

Hyacinthos is originally from Athens, Greece, where he completed his dance training in the age of 19 after a long performing background in different styles of dancing since his childhood. His main areas are Latin, Ballroom, Commercial, Salsa, Oriental and Greek dancing, in all of which he holds professional qualifications with the IDTA and UKA.

To develop his view of dancing, Hyacinthos has been trained as an actor which enriched his ability to choreograph the story of the couple and the reason behind the movement. He has recently finished a Psychology Degree, has published his research in Dance Psychology and he currently attends a Doctorate in Existential Psychology. He approaches dancing as an innate process of the body and he has the ability to pull it out from any student, even the ones with no experience and no confidence in dancing.
